  • 2 STICKS UNSALTED BUTTER
  • 3 TB CHOPPED GARLIC
  • 2 BTLS CHOLULA CHILI GARLIC HOT SAUCE
  • 1/3 C SWEET CHILI SAUCE
  • 2 TB VINEGAR
  • 2 TB SAMBAL OELEK
  • 1/3 C ORANGE BLOSSOM HONEY
  • 2 TB CBK "5 SPICE HABANERO & GINGER SPICE BLEND" FOR COATING & DUSTING
  • 24 WING PARTS 12 WINGS SEPARATED INTO 2 PIECES, LEAVING WING TIPS INTACK
  • CANOLA OIL FOR FRYING
  • 1 TB OLIVE OIL

Instructions
 

  • Place the butter, garlic, chili-garlic hot sauce, sweet chili sauce, vinegar, sambal, and honey in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium high heat. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until the sauce begins to thicken and bubble and the garlic begins to sweeten. Heat 3 inches of canola oil in a heavy pot to 375 degrees. Once the oil is hot add half the chicken wing parts to the pot and fry until golden brown and fully cooked, approximately 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove and place in a large mixing bowl, ladle the habanero honey wing sauce to cover the wings, toss and platter.
