SMOKEY SALMON AND AVOCADO TARTAR BITES

  • ½ Lb. Fresh Grade A “sushi” style Atlantic Salmon (chopped into small dice)
  • 8 oz. Smoked Salmon (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp. Chipotle Peppers, En Adobo (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsp. Capers (liquid removed)
  • ¼ cup Scallion (chopped)
  • 2 tsp. Pickled Ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 Tbs. Sesame Oil
  • 2 Tbs. EVO
  • ½ Avocado (small diced)
  • 24 Edible Cups
  • Black Sesame Seeds ((optional))
  1. In a small mixing bowl add the chopped salmon, smoked salmon, Dijon, EVO, sesame oil, chipotle and ginger. 

  2. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold together until the ingredients are well blended. 

  3. Fold in the capers, scallion and avocado. 

  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, about 30 minutes. 

  5. Remove from the refrigerator and fill the edible cups with about a tablespoon of the mixture. 

  6. Garnish with sesame seeds.  Enjoy!
